Do Not
Don’t overexpose your bag to light, heat, or water. Keep it shady.  If leather gets too wet, dry it slowly at room temperature. Never dry it with a hair dryer. Speed drying will change the chemical structure of leather and your item will end up stiff. When drying keep it in the shape you want it to end up. You can do this by filling the bag loosely with bubble wrap (do not overfill). Never use newspaper as the ink can rub off onto the fabrics.

Cleaning
Cleaning – To remove small scratches, use a clean fingertip to gently rub out the scratch. The natural oils in your skin will remove most small scratches. To remove dirt, grime or surface residue, use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth. Gently rub – don’t scrub – for removal. Before applying anything to your leather item, be sure to test in a hidden area to ensure the cleaner is compatible with the leather. Once you’ve decided whether the leather care product is acceptable, gently apply with a soft, clean cloth.

Storing Leather
Remember that leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable bag, not plastic, to prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. When you’re not using your bag, store it in the dust bag. Bags need their beauty rest too.
